Weather Data Quality Analysis
While this website is regarded mostly as a hobby
for my interest in weather, I have gone to great lengths to ensure the
data I'm providing is very accurate. The data I submit is
routinely checked for quality and accuracy by the Citizens Weather
Observer Program. Below, you will find some quality analysis
tables that illustrate the reliability of my weather data. It meets the
CWOP's strict criteria in all four areas. The black circle
on each chart represents where my station rates in relation to others
around the nation. For the data to be considered accurate, the
circle must fall within the small black box on each chart. As you
can see, the data analysis hits the target in all four categories
(temperature, wind speed, dew point, and barometer) thereby validating
its accuracy.
